Art Therapist and Therapist

I have been working with individuals, families, and groups for 3 years in various mental health settings, and I specialize in using creative techniques and art therapy interventions with teens and adults. If you are thinking, “Oooh, art! That’s exciting!” then let me assure you that we can process your struggles, your goals, and your life in many artistic and creative ways. If the thought of art made you think “I haven’t made art since 2nd grade! No thank you!”, let me assure you that I am a trained therapist as well and we can work together without ever touching art materials. However, once you see the possibilities art therapy can offer you, you may want to give it a try. No pressure.

The important thing is that I listen, I validate, I care, and I want to help you become your very best self. We can work together to identify and process the patterns in your life, how to manage what life throws at you, or to dig in and heal the pain that you have been hurting from. I’m here for you and embrace you for who you are. My interests and passions are gender and sexual minorities,  survivors of sex-trafficking and sexual abuse, the Gaming and Cosplay community, the Drag and Burlesque community, working with teens and young adults, and non-traditional therapeutic techniques, such as art therapy, sandtray therapy, and therapeutic games.

I have my undergraduate degree in Illustration from SCAD Savannah and I have my master degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Edinboro University. You are in good hands!
